Abuse has been normalised and knowingly ignored with ample tolerance in many countries and the ignorance/complitness/ lack of empathy of some in response to abuse claims is what's really shocking. That doesn't mean abusive behaviour, fearful environments, excessive control, bullying etc. is necessary too. And you can't "just change coach".
