It’s not okay to just sit back and say that something disgusting happening to innocent people doesn’t affect you. It affects all of us. In taking a stance, in standing up for others, in standing up for your values means that you CARE. Staying silent is a privilege. Use the privilege you have. Use the voice you have. Speak up.
