What does hope look like to you?
It's the question that more than 50 artists from 20 countries were tasked with answering in a new campaign curated by @TEDFellow Yana Buhrer Tavanier (@yanska) for Fine Acts, a global nonprofit that uses art to empower activism. Denitsa Boyadzhieva illustrated part of this classic by her favorite poet Emily Dickinson, turning the "thing with feathers" into a silly, bird-like human singer. "I wanted to make others smile, but I also wanted to make a bridge between the past and today," she says. "We are here because people in the past had hope, and we have the future ahead of us."
