These ethereal, underwater sculptures are giving us major Pirates of the Caribbean vibes. Artist Jason deCaires Taylor has created over 500 sunken cement installations like this, which become part of the ecosystem as coral and other marine life grows on them. "As soon as we submerge the sculptures, they're not ours anymore," Taylor says. "They belong to the sea. As new reefs form, a new world literally starts to evolve." Click the link in our bio to learn more about these beautifully haunting works of art — and how they can help protect the world's reefs and oceans.
