I am lucky enough to be in a company that is fully supported at this time, but my heart is going out to the arts community I grew up in that is struggling tremendously right now. Until two years ago when I moved to the Netherlands and joined NDT2, I had lived in New York my whole life. I went from the Professional Performing Arts School to American Ballet Theatre’s School to graduating from The Juilliard school. New York was my home and right now it’s become one of the epicenters during this pandemic. Many arts organizations are fighting to survive and doing everything they can to keep creating and inspiring and it’s now more important than ever for us to support them.
