Our dating days were spent living four hours apart, driving to see one another, and each moment was a gift. We wouldn’t let go of each other when we could be physically together, and we spent every night falling asleep to one another on Skype.  Eight years of life with my love. We have fought hard to be here. It hasn’t all been easy - in fact, there’s been a lot of really hard stuff. To know that we’re still here, still loving one another, through the good and the difficult too, means more to me than if it had all been fairytale.  It means we are willing to fight for what matters, we are willing to put in the work of loving one another.  I chose her eight years ago.
