Photo by @daisygilardini | The Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard lies midway between Norway and the North Pole. It's one of the last real Arctic wildernesses, with breathtaking landscapes and wildlife including polar bears, foxes, reindeer, walruses, whales, and birds. During my recent trip there, a Brünnich's guillemot flew by just as I was enjoying the beautiful sunset reflected in the ripples caused by the ship.
