But knowing the difference and being the difference are two very separate things my darlings. It may be easier to drive past a mother and child standing at the side of a busy road waiting to cross, but stopping the traffic to help them to cross safely feels so much better. Rushing to get a seat on the train home after a busy day at work may seem like a relief to finally rest up, but seeing somebody else who needs it more than you makes giving up your seat and standing for another hour or two more than worth it for knowing that they’re ok. My grandmother was the most loving, kind and selfless person I have ever met, everytime a situation occurs where I question right and wrong I ask myself what she would do - and everytime just the thought of her helps me to do the right thing.
