Note: yes, there is a dab of other holds. But in training I do not care as long as I feel it does not really help me (on the other hand, dabbing the ground or pad outdoors is absolutely no go, while on the comps, there are judges). Trying to strictly avoid touching the holds from neighboring problems in training often leads to unnatural way climbing. As a climber, you often use one foot on a foothold and the other one is touching the wall, but it is very important to feel where to touch the wall in order to get the best body position. Often the neighbouring holds are blocking the way of getting into the best bodyposition.
