I arrived a day before everyone else and had a particularly sick feeling of jet lag. It was pouring rain, so I ended up sleeping most of the day away, occasionally looking out the window and watching people scramble around the canals. Just before sunset I couldn’t ignore my hunger any longer and took a long walk. I was so lucky I did. Not only did I instantly discover what a gorgeous city I was in, but the sky began putting on a show. There were golden clouds and rainbows against a distant, dark sky and the city came alive. Eventually the sunset faded to this gorgeous pinkish purple, a color I’ve rarely seen in my life. #amsterdam #sunset #purplesky #travel」11月19日 18時09分
