After some check-in and power trip fiasco, we couldn’t find lamb at the nearby groceries to make a shepherd’s pie with my leftover mash.

So it became a chicken pot pie, which @kvijaynathan had made for me on several special occasions. That was also the night I forgot our anniversary.
