I’m so upset with Airbnb
I went to Atlanta for a work trip in the begging of July and when I went to check in the host had pulled the unit leaving me and my co worker stranded. I contacted Airbnb and they issued me a refund right away. They also told me they would cover 50% of our reservation cost towards a hotel
We had to stay further away from our work location to find something within budget which actually ended up costing more in Uber’s.
I sent my receipts in right away to be reimbursed and was then told they could only cover half of ONE night
Keep in mind this is after we paid!!! I then asked to be transferred to a supervisor, who was no help at all
They said they could give me a bit more but still not the amount we were told. I have been going back and forth with the supervisor for weeks. I have asked for a phone calll. Have not received a single one. When I did ask the supervisor told me they were not connected to a phone. I have asked to be transferred to a manager and I have still yet to be transferred
The supervisor closed the case out on me before I could respond to her last message. This is so unprofessional.
This all happened almost a month ago and I am still dealing with this. I am surprised a company as big as Airbnb would treat there users this way.
I am also surprised a supervisor would take this situation so lightly and ignore messages for days at a time.
I understand mistakes happen, however, this mistake was caused by an employee of Airbnb.
I work in customer service and I can tell you this is not how we handle situations.
We go on numerous work trips each year and have decided to not use Airbnb going forward. The hassle is not worth it.

Voici mon avis !!! Je vais communiquer au maximum sur votre arnaque. 60€ de dédommagement pour avoir fracturé la porte de ma cave, cassé des verres, taché un drap de sang, cassé ma nespresso. Bravo Airbnb pour votre gestion lamentable d’un litige. Je n’ai plus aucune confiance en votre service.Airbnb ou l’arnaque pour les host !!!! Les gens cassent, abîment nos biens immobiliers et malgré les photos fournies “les documents nécessaire ne sont pas suffisant”.La caution ne sert absolument à rien et Airbnb prend parti uniquement pour les guests afin d’avoir de bons avis c’est une honte absolue!!! Fuyez fuyez ils ne veulent que leur commission sur la location de votre bien. Honteux

Don't use AIRBNB because they doing reimburse for damage from guests stay. Even with proper documentation, photos, videos, dates time stamps, filed request within 24 hours of guest departure and they come top with a bogus answer of wear and tear. They don't use phones in the claims department and can't transfer to any other department because they don't have the ability too???? Its 2019 folks you have the ability to pick up the phone and call you customer. Way to provide a complete disconnect and only allow you to control the situation without proper call backs or ability to speak with the correct case manager.

@Airbnb Did you know that if a guest brings a dog into your Airbnb (even if you have a no pet policy) and causes damage to your property they will not make the guest pay for the damages? Their response: The cause of damage is not eligible for reimbursement by Airbnb. The Host Guarantee terms state that ''Damage caused by insects, animals or vermin'' is not covered.

@airbnb acabo de poner una reclamación ya que en la actual reserva con unos huéspedes me ha desaparecido la tarifa de limpieza, hace unos días cuando os consulté me dijisteis que sería un error sin importancia, al comprobar hoy que no, os he vuelto a escribir y me contestais que la tarifa la añadí después de la reserva cuando no ha sido asi
