Without it we’d have no satellites (which are responsible for the internet, gps, navigation systems among other things) and that’s just the satellites contributions. There are literally thousands of inventions (from many industries like the medical field, electronics, food industry, public safety to name a few) that NASA and the space programs are responsible for.
