Can you believe this photo was taken at 11pm? 🇱🇻
I decided to come to Riga for the weekend with my best friend from uni @jasminebarcelona. I knew nothing about Latvia, and had absolutely no expectations to the point I almost cancelled the day before. I'm honestly absolutely blown away and it's definitely my favourite city I've visited in ages. ✨
We only had one night in Riga, and so wanted to stay in the nicest hotel, so settled on @kempinskiriga and they have a really nice rooftop restaurant called Stage 22 where this photo is taken. The sunset started around 10pm and lasted all the way until 1:30am, before rising again at 4am. I've honestly never seen anything like it. 😍
I kept saying to Jas that it's so crazy we got here in just over 2 hours, when I usually spend a couple of hours in bed scrolling through my phone on the weekend. Our flights were only about £30 as we booked so far in advance, so it was a good reminder to keep embracing my independence and see the world.
