I guess we all do, it's what makes us human. On this particular day, I felt weird about putting on a bikini. 👙 I've come to learn that a lot of the time our perceived flaws are subjective and other people don't see them, so we shouldn't point them out. Sometimes I find myself wanting to project my insecurities, perhaps to put myself down before others can? So on this day, I picked out my new favourite bikini, looked in the mirror and told myself several times: "you look cute". I came out to the beach and said it again, "I feel so cute". Looking back, I do actually look cute and I'm glad I didn't let the voice in my head ruin my day. I'm saying this not because I want validation, but just to try remind us all that others aren't judging us the way our mind can make us believe.
