Photo by @max.lowe I On a rocky beach on the shores of the Antarctic continent, a whales rib bone sits washed up below the high tide line, a reminiscent marker of a time when whalers slaughtered these great marine mammals that called its waters home in the thousands. Now these bones remain, a reminder of how far we've come in our interactions with the natural world around us, and what still remains at stake if we are to slip in our dedication to the protection and preservation of it.
