In our lifetime, however, unique challenges posed by our warming climate will arise from threats to the penguins’ food supply and their disappearing habitat: sea ice. This World Environment Day, let’s work to protect our world’s coldest environments as their inhabitants are forced to leave their homes and seek refuge further south.
