There’s 1.5 hours of off-ice, 2 hours on-ice, and a 30-minute Q&A. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the off-ice session, you’ll learn basic positions, how to hold yourself in lifts, and how to create shapes. You’ll practice a number of lifts on the floor and prepare these for the ice (you’ll do your lifts with Hamish if you don’t have a partner). Male participants will learn lifting techniques for carry and rotational lifts, and how to keep lifts safe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the on-ice session, you’ll work on lifts, partnering techniques, and death spirals.
