In San Francisco, a longtime home for sexual subcultures, the dogs are very out. #Puppyplay, a genre of kink within the world of #BDSM, isn’t new. But it’s newly popular. Its participants, who are primarily young gay men, gain pleasure from acting like puppies — friendly, frisky, often nonverbal.
