Here’s what a $45 “hot dog” looks like. It’s actually a butter-poached king #crab leg in a buttered brioche bun, topped with caviar, avocado, sour cream mayonnaise, frisée and pickled mustard seeds. It’s served at the 12-seat, caviar-heavy restaurant @HusoNYC. The chef Buddha Lo, who worked at @ElevenMadisonPark, prepares the dish in an attempt to make #caviar more fun. “Everyone thinks it’s too high up there to mess around with,” he said.
