Turns out I'm a pro at cycling in heels. 😁 We've just checked out of the @theresidencemaldives, and I'm going to miss it so much! The place is paradise and all the staff were beyond lovely and helpful. I said I'd set out to see if you could enjoy the Maldives if you love adventures and aren't on your honeymoon, and to be honest we've hardly stopped, and we didn't have time to jet ski! Also *SPOILER ALERT* most the Honeymooners we saw were on their phones barely talking to each other. Remember that life is what you make it and no wedding or honeymoon will magically make everything wonderful - of course there are LOTS of happy relationships out there too, it's just funny isn't it that everyone has Maldives as the idyllic honeymoon destination in their heads but ideals don't guarantee happiness.
