Thank you to all the women out there supporting, empowering, inspiring, celebrating and helping one another. United we are powerful beyond measure and when we have the courage to be imperfect and share our unique magic we inspire others to do the same ?

My journey has taken many turns though life and today I remember and honour the women who have helped me in my greatest hours of need. The women who brought me back to life, back to my heart. They helped me remember I am enough. That I was born enough and will always be enough. I thank the women who have celebrated me in all my glory. The ones who have listened to my stories, laughed and danced until the early hours of the morning, the ones who see me through a lens of love and not as a threat.

I thank my mother, my sisters and grandmothers before me for the wisdom, friendship and nurturing. But most of all I thank my daughter Jade for rising up and inspiring me with her compassion and integrity. It’s because of her that I strive to be the best example of a woman I can be. She is wise beyond her years with the biggest heart I know. Jade will officially be a teenager very soon and as she enters this new phase of her life it’s reminded me of my own insecurities through those years. To all the girls out there trying to work out who they are, trying to adjust to the changes, and trying so hard to not stand out...remember there is only one of you, and what you bring to this world whether you see it or not is exactly what we need. You don’t need to hide or dull your shine. In fact I hope you will love yourself so much that you’ll glisten and sparkle so bright that your light will be seen from the stars. You were all born to shine. You were all born enough. Be you. Do you. And the sooner you accept YOU the sooner you’ll feel the pure joy and freedom of life. You’ll no longer compare, you’ll no longer question, you’ll no longer hide, you’ll know....you are, and always will be, a superstar. We all are ?
