Turquoise bay is located in Cape Range national park on the Ningaloo reef, approx 13+ hour drive or short flight from Perth, Western Australia.
It’s a stunning crystal clear beach, but also a magical snorkeling spot with lots of beautiful corals, turtles, tropical fish, rays and reef sharks. It’s one of my favorite spots to snorkel. There are 2 snorkel spots - the drift or the bay loop. Just avoid the sandbar in between as the currents can be dangerous here. We usually walk south along the beach at the drift loop and drift snorkel back.
It’s a busy spot for good reason so if you want to experience it quiet like this then go early in the morning.
