Thank you so much @youngwomenstrust and @dreamsisterjane for having me as a speaker on tonight's panel alongside so many inspirational ladies. ???♀️
Can we talk about imposter syndrome for a moment? I was sat on this panel alongside all these amazing women who have achieved and done so many great things, and I thought "why on Earth am I here?". I also felt like they'd be sure not to like me, because who am I? At the end they were all SO lovely and I thought it important to bring up my inner thoughts because sometimes it's our insecurities and fears that limit us and hold us back. I think it's maybe a girl thing but we're taught not to be TOO MUCH? I'm not sure your thoughts on this, but tonight reminded me that we can all be whatever we dream of, and sometimes we think people are judging us because we fear they are. I feel so empowered after tonight, bring on more female-focused fun tomorrow and Friday for International Women's Day. ♀️?? #iwd2019 #iwd
