Let’s talk about money 💰 According to a recent survey women invest 35-40% less money than men. Not only is there a gender pay gap, but a gender savings gap. We often end up with smaller pension pots and less money saved, between 30-40% less than men by the time we retire. And it’s time we do something about it 💃 I am no expert, but I’ve consulted a financial advisor to help me invest my money wisely. I’m stepping away from the security of cash ISAs and into the daunting but fruitful world of stocks, shares and funds. My money will work much harder for me by making a few simple changes 👍🏼 Investing is for everyone. Every adult employed by a British company has an auto enrolled pension, that’s investing! But I encourage you to take it a step further, if you invested £50 a month for 25 years and it grew at 6% you would end up with almost £35,000 ✅ I know investing can sound scary and the industry doesn’t make it easy to understand when you’re not in the know; but I encourage you to spend some time looking into how to best manage your money. There’s plenty of online advice as well as qualified advisors you can talk with. miranda.mmg Great post! I read somewhere that inorder to retire at 65 you need around 1.5 million of savings to give you around £3000 a month. Who is gonna be able to save that much? What I have learnt is creating a recurring income is a good plan b. lan b. That is the key to true wealth as it gives you time leverage.
