Gary Hume is one of 11 Contemporary artists working to raise awareness of #TigerConservation ? In collaboration with @WWF_UK, @christopherfarrcloth and @ArtwiseCurators, each artist has designed a limited edition rug, inspired by rare antique Tibetan ‘tiger rugs’. Hume explained that his design was born from an understanding of Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, in which the tiger is a symbol of the powerful, desirous, unstable and dangerous mind.

Expected to cause a roar, the exhibition will open in our London galleries on January 29. All rugs will be available to purchase, and all funds will be donated to tiger conservation in 13 countries.
