When it comes to award season, the @blackpanther director Ryan Coogler has 2 ideas on the subject. “You don’t ever want to get too comfortable sitting in rooms and listening to people telling you how great the work is.” At the same time, Ryan is aware that if #BlackPanther scores major Oscar nominations, it could open the door for more directors of color. So, to what extent should Ryan play the game?
