Chris Pang and other Asian-Australian actors have found a home in #Hollywood, appearing in some of the biggest films and TV shows of the year. But there’s one place that Chris goes where he’s rarely recognized: The country where he grew up. For many Asian-Australian actors, the few roles available in #Australia can be ancillary or based on outdated stereotypes. Rather than try to make it in Australia, many of them are heading straight to #LosAngeles, and finding success there. But there is still much to overcome. Many actors of Asian descent say they continue to be overlooked, especially for major roles.
