"I like you but..." "Keep it classy" "Attention seeker" These are just a few of the comments I've received on my last few lingerie posts, all from women. I post about lingerie because I am passionate about discovering great brands that make beautiful lingerie bigger than a D cup. I spent my teenage years having to wear ugly granny bras because there weren't many sexy affordable options around, at least not that I knew of. I also spent my teens being ashamed of my body. I remember at school being made to change before a disco because my outfit was inappropriate, so my friend asked to wear it and she was allowed. It was a tank top, but you could see my cleavage. I was 14. Boys would come up to me and make crass comments, and if I told girls I hated my boobs they'd say I was attention-seeking because obviously everyone wants big boobs. These kind of things taught me from a young age to be ashamed of my body. I wore frumpy clothes for a while because I didn't want to look slutty or to have people staring at my chest. So here's the thing, I'm passionate about sharing my lingerie discoveries with you and will continue to do so. I'm enjoying the process of learning to love my body, and I enjoy wearing lingerie that makes me feel good. I find it empowering, and I hope and know a lot of you ladies do too. If you don't like it, or it makes you feel a certain type of way about me or about yourself then you can unfollow me, or scroll on. You should only follow people online who inspire you and make you feel good, and if that's not me, that's ok. But I have no time for negativity, or judgement over here. Lingerie photos don't define my morals or intelligence, and I personally think women can be smart AND sexy. Let's be kind to each other ladies, luckily I'm strong enough to not get upset, but a few years ago mean comments would have broken me. ♥️
