I really feel the need to address some of the nasty things written about me today, especially as I've been receiving so many messages from you all about it. Thank you to everyone who's been so lovely. ♥️ To say I have a “Rags to Riches” story and bringing up my parent’s profession in a negative way is incredibly rude and classist. I am proud of my northern roots, and my parents have worked two jobs for as long as I can remember to provide opportunities for my brother, sister, and I. My dad has quite literally saved lives during his time in the fire service and I am in awe of both of them for their achievements. Is a background of hard-work and good parenting considered rags? It is the strong work ethic my parents have instilled in me, my determination, and the brilliant platform of reality TV that have allowed me to achieve success in modelling, DJ’ing, and presenting. Insinuating that I have only achieved success from flaunting my boobs and dating famous men is inaccurate and offensive and I will not allow my hard work to be rewritten with a sexist narrative. I have categorically never tipped off newspapers about my personal life and I will not sit back in silence and allow my character to be tarnished. It’s 2018, men would not be written about in such a way, so we need to stop allowing women to be belittled in the media. I’m also disappointed to learn that a lot of this nastiness was actually written by a woman. For those of you who have messaged me and supported me and who see how hard I work, thank you. You’re amazing! I got to where I am and will continue to rise regardless of my relationship status because I am a boss bitch who works bloody hard. ? Remember your worth and never let anyone make you feel unimportant or less worthy than you are. It’s taken a long time, a lot of setbacks, and a lot of hardwork for me to become the confident, independent young woman I am, and I am not allowing false stories to silence me, belittle my background, or stop me from speaking my mind. ♥️
