Am I zero waste? ? The honest truth: I'm not. Not even close ??‍♀️ I admire those who are and I take inspiration from their lifestyles, but I am nowhere near there yet. I am trying to be realistic with myself and my lifestyle. My focus is on raising my awareness of my choices and being conscious in what I do consume. The amount of waste I produce now is about 1/4 of what it used to be; and the waste that I do produce, I handle with care. I try not to view what I do consume as rubbish to just be thrown away. In fact, some of the materials, such as the corrugated cardboard can go on to be used many more times when recycled. For example, with @staywildswim my new sustainable swimwear brand, we have packaged our pieces in recycled corrugated cardboard which is also 100% recyclable, as we view this as one of the most sustainable options available to us ? I don't want to intimidate you by setting goals of never consuming a single piece of plastic or never using an item in glass again, instead just reduce, reuse and recycle.
