Day 1 of our 7th birthday week. I’ve been thinking back on the past 7 years and all of our wonderful neighbors in Soho that’s we’ve met, who have welcomed us with open arms even when I was sleeping 2 hours a night and we only had 4 employees, the line stretched 150-people deep, and we were working tirelessly to do our very best every single morning. It’s our guests and our neighbors that helped to lift us up and keep on going, like the time the team at @TheDutchNYC @andrewcarmellini @jasonreichenhua dressed up like the Ninja Turtles for Halloween and delivered pizzas to us. Or when our neighbors at @Boqueria helped supply us with fresh bread when Hurricane Sandy hit and we had a power outage. Or when @eatblueribbon gave us oyster shells when we were working on a new dessert and needed an oyster-shaped mold. Today we invited some of these neighbors in to start their morning with a cup of joe, on us. Thank you to this community, this Soho family, for helping us reach 7 years. ? #DABTurns7
