抹茶 vegan matcha dark chocolate scones✨

SCONES

Coconut oil spray

2 cups gfree flour, plus extra
1 teaspoon aluminum-free baking soda 2 tablespoons @matchalove powder
1⁄4 teaspoon sea salt
1⁄2 cup coconut oil

TO FINISH

1⁄4 cup dark chocolate chips

1 large egg (omit if #vegan + use egg replacer)

1⁄2 cup unsweet applesauce

1⁄4 cup brown rice syrup

2 tablespoons turbinado sugar (optional) to sprinkle
slivered almonds or toasted coconut (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, matcha powder, + sea salt.

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the coconut oil, applesauce, and brown rice syrup. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until dough forms.

Transfer the scones to the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with the turbinado sugar, if desired. Bake on the middle rack

Melt dark chocolate chips over a double boiler. Dip scones in melted dark chocolate or drizzz with the chocolate; let chocolate to set + add toppings. xxx ck #matchalatte
