If not now, when? my calling has been a great divide for my heart. I’ve struggled with when — I simply cannot live out my dreams here in the comforts of NY & when NY starts to get comfy, that’s when you know....

I never came to play small. mom and dad never pressured me to do anything — they simply showed me NYC at three years old and Tokyo at five —-

My Polish grandfather escaped death on a train when he served in the military against the Germans. His stories are insane. .

My Japanese grandparents moved to Tokyo to pursue my grandfather’s dreams as an impressionist painter+ had to then, escape death from the US bombings shortly after.

Dad was drafted into the US Navy at 20. He was scared but he did diligence & consequentially fell in love with a beautiful Japanese girl & school teacher in Tokyo during his time in the military.. .

My big sister, a maj hipster went to Berkeley & later left to London 10 years ago, and fell in love with her cycling work, she did well + never came back.

painfully, my calling has not been easy... I constantly test my boundaries + I contemplate my path + I’ve put my thoughts into writing ✍️ into books + throughout my work ... I didn’t take a break for two decades —- I love pioneering + doing bad things. I hate complacency and anything basic. .
Yet I pass no judgement on the way that anyone chooses to live. I love and let live. .
