In august 2018, in its second edition, Waking Life used 54 solar panels to charge battery packs which reduced fuel consumption by 3155 liters and avoided 8455 kg of CO2 emissions. The festival is committed to grow their use of sustainable energy to continue to shrink its carbon footprint and lead by example for other European festivals.
