‘Max Bill was one of the co-founders of Concrete art, a movement that started in Zurich and influenced artists like Josef Albers,’ explains Hans-Peter Keller, our Impressionist and Modern Art specialist in Zurich.⠀

‘In the early 1950s, Bill had become a figurehead of the modernist artists gathered around the Museu de Arte de São Paulo – which lead to the emergence of the Brazilian Concretism groups at that time.’⠀
