"I shot this at Dove Lake while on a long weekend shoot in Tasmania. This was right on dusk and the colour in the sky was singing purple and blue hues. I didn't have any filters with me as I wanted to smooth the water out with a long exposure yet retain all the detail and colour in the sky; so I bracketed my shot. On a tripod, I used a low ISO and a high f/stop to drag my shutter speed as long as I could to expose for the foreground and get the water as silky as I could. In this case I got 2 seconds. Then I exposed for the sky which I did by making my shutter speed faster, at .5 seconds. Once I had these 2 shots, I used Photoshop to blend the exposures together using luminosity masking. This way I had the best of both shots in one! And I didn't need a filter." @mattzpixz
