Even though, damsels and #dragons are closely related, #dragonflies use to feed on damsels quite often. Dragonflies have amazing flying abilities both in speed and maneuvers. They are able to feed in the air as well, but they better land after a while in case of such large prey. This shot was made on #assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in #danubedelta, but could have been taken much closer. This species lives at a lake nearby, only 3 miles from our house in #Hungary.
