GO JAPAN!!????? Tennis history was made today with *both* Japanese players #KeiNishikori and #NaomiOsaka (whom I got to work with at the press conference the other day) advancing to the semifinals of the US Open!✨ This is the first time in the Open era that a Japanese man and woman have made the final four of a Grand Slam. It's mind-blowing to think that Naomi has become the first Japanese woman to reach the semis since 1996 (22 years ago), and she was born in 1997 (currently 20 years old)! It’s been two years since Nishikori has made it to the semis, and this will be his third time around. Wishing all the best for them!!?
ニューヨークで行われたテニスの全米オープンで、大坂なおみ選手＆錦織圭選手、そろって準決勝進出を決めました‼️ 本当にすごい試合で仕事を忘れて応援していました✨
グランド・スラム（世界４大大会）のシングルスで日本人選手が男女で４強入りするのは初めて！錦織選手の４強入りは２年ぶり。そして、日本人女性の４強入りは１９９６年以来の２２年ぶり。（ちなみに、大坂選手は１９９７年生まれの２０歳でまだ生まれていませんでした?）
