I'm officially a home owner! ??
Oh my gosh what a day! After months of stress getting mortgages rejected and jumping through loopholes I finally exchanged on my flat. I used @fantasticservices to move my things and honestly they were amazing and did not stop, which is lucky given my hangover this morning. ? All my furniture is up in the new place but I can't officially move in for 12 days.
Cringe part, but when I first quit my job to pursue my dream of presenting / DJ'ing in 2012 I was so broke I had to live with my friend at his parents house (love you @sebjewell) and sometimes couldn't afford the tube so I'd set off hours early for meetings and auditions. Dream big, don't listen to anyone who doesn't believe in you, work harder than everyone else and you really can achieve anything. I'M SO HAPPY, but also relieved that I acheived some security by myself - one mortgage company even said to me it would be easier if I was buying in a couple. Bring on the next chapter! ?
