I’m not the leanest i’ve ever been, but I sure am the happiest???

(and NO this doesn’t mean weight gain = happiness - it’s simply a correlation).

i’ve accepted a long time ago that a number will never truly hold my worth and value,
⠀
but I do believe that in thinking less in numbers, I’ve been able to simmer down my perfectionism.
⠀
maybe this means I’m not 100% on my diet, or that I’ll willingly skip a workouts when my bff asks to play with my puppy (@juliettebusch??).

all in all, as I rid myself of the black and white decisions, and strip away the dichotomous mindset my perfectionist side is guilty of having, i’ve grown to be a happier person?

to sum it up: I understand and value my love for fitness. but I see it as a part of me, and not my entirety✨✨
