President @ドナルド・トランプ and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a joint press conference Monday in Helsinki after having what Mr. Trump described as four hours of "deeply productive" talks.⠀

During their appearance, Mr. Trump disputed U.S. intelligence agencies' conclusion that Moscow interfered in the 2016 presidential election, saying he "didn't see any reason why" the finding would be true.⠀

Mr. Trump said he and the Russian president "spent a great deal of time" discussing the matter and that Mr. Putin "was extremely strong and powerful in his denial."⠀

The two leaders said they discussed a range of issues during their meeting, including arms control, Syria and Moscow's annexation of Crimea in 2014. ⠀

"Our relationship has never been worse than it is now," Mr. Trump declared. "However, that changed, about four hours ago."⠀
