a weekend in the garden -
things are coming up quickly, including this big ole baby belly of mine - full term at the end of the week. where did that go?
We are taking things a little slower now and trying to really soak in the last weeks, week, days? It all seems somehow a bit sweeter as we wait. Blueberries picked straight from the bush, waking around the garden munching handfuls as I (precariously) do some weeding and pick the first half dozen zucchini which appeared almost overnight - finishing client projects and photo shoots all with an eye to the future but I I can’t shake this feeling of being heavily grounded right here in each moment

with the city cottage still! under construction we are exclusively at the farm these days but each morning I wake to pinky hued skies and the first songs of the red winged black birds or watch the same sun set out over the western hills at the edge of the field, I can’t help but think that there could be no more special place for this baby to come home to
