If I ever forget to get outside and enjoy my immediate surroundings, the summer solstice always refreshes my perspective. The sun will shine the longest all year, drenching California in more gold than usual. But not just here - it’s the height of summer all across the northern hemisphere. Just think - billions of people in celebration of the greatest life-force planet earth has ever known. As for where I celebrate, I think there’s nowhere better than my true home - the great Pacific.
