The most beautiful mermaid moment at #sonevafushi @discoversoneva ??♀️ Enjoying our private beach right in front of our villa ? It felt like being on a deserted island, not a soul in sight, just pristine, crystalline waters filled with marine life ?
This incredible island is located in the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve ?
This is one of the largest and richest groups of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean with globally significant biodiversity ? You’ll see turtles, sharks, manta rays, giant vibrant species of fish and so much more ? It was such a special experience for our family to swim amongst these gentle creatures and it has changed us forever ?? There are so many things I love about Soneva Fushi. At the heart of it, I love how much they care for not only their magical island, but the whole world. They think outside the box, and they genuinely care about helping the greater good. They teach local kids to swim and provide safe water to 3/4 million people in the world. They are helping to reduce deforestation and air pollution in Myanmar and Darfur by providing fuel efficient stoves. And providing much needed energy to poor rural communities through the Soneva Foundation ??
They inspire me so much, and have helped to deepen my awareness and passion to care for this world in as many ways as I can.
