#MovementMondays HENRY GOLDING is a British-Malaysian actor of English and Iban ancestry. Based in Singapore and known for hosting travel shows, Golding has had a very exciting year. He will make his first film appearance as the lead in the upcoming adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s bestseller, Crazy Rich Asians, alongside one of my absolute favorites Constance Wu @constancewu . The romantic comedy follows a Chinese-American woman (Wu) who gets a culture shock when she meets her boyfriend’s (Golding) family in Singapore. This film marks a big moment because it will be the first major Hollywood film in over two decades to feature an all-Asian cast, which deserves to be recognized. Golding will then be seen in Paul Geig’s thriller A Simple Favor with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. Also, he recently booked his next project playing the lead in a new drama film, Monsoon, from writer/director Hong Khaou. This guy is on a roll! Crazy Rich Asians premieres August 15th - Go out and support Golding and this historic moment for the Asian-American community! I’ll be there with my entire Puerto Rican family!
