A close up of the beautiful @galen_leather Writing Box from my happy space earlier in the week. Last night I shared some honest thoughts and observations in my journey with grief. And I’m okay. It’s a season and a process and there are challenges as well as gifts within it. One thing that helps me move through it is making room for pockets of joy. Whether it be playing board games with my family, sitting and sipping coffee in my garden, extra long journaling sessions or even just rearranging the mementos and tools that are special to me. Somewhere in all of it I find myself remembering to daydream again or recalling a special moment and suddenly the heart feels refreshed and anew.

And season or not, the extra savoring of these kind of moments is something I’ll gladly keep. So here’s to today. And here’s to you all. Thank you so much for your beautiful hearts and kind words. For sitting with me each day. What a gift. I hope the weekend ahead brings each of you those special moments worth savoring and that they linger extra longer.
