Yoga is a great way to get your lymphatic system pumping which helps to remove waste from your body. Keeping the lymph flowing and your body hydrated flushes toxins and the bug from your body. - Did you know that your lymphatic system is a circulatory system like your cardiovascular system? They differ in that: 1. your heart is constantly keeping the flow of blood moving while your lymph requires the movement of joints and muscles in order to keep from being stagnant 2. Your lymphatic system is an open circulatory system while your cardiovascular system is closed - Since your lymphatic system plays a crucial role in detoxifying and waste removal, it’s important to move your body everyday- even when you’re sick! But like everything in life, it’s about a balance. Too much movement and you can compromise your already hard at work immune system.
