British painter Roy Oxlade’s distinctive style is characterised by wild, spontaneous brushwork, bold colour and a love of music and poetry. ‘Profile and Brushes’ from 1984-85 is the most recent acquisition by the @jerwoodcollection, which is celebrating twenty five years with an exhibition in our #London galleries this #summer. This painting will go on view to the public from 8 – 12 June 2018, as part of Modern British Week.
