We’re sharing some of your inspirations and heroes for Women’s Month. Thank you Anne Marie McGill for sharing: “I'm sure I'm not the only one to nominate their own Mother, but, well, she is something special. At the age of 82 she is a widow. She & my father were constant companions for 58 years when he passed this last February at the age of 86 from Pulmonary Fibrosis. He's gone, but, because of what they created together my Mother is not alone. They had 6 of us & the number of grands & great grands are unending. Together my parents worked together to make a happy marriage & from that taught all of us humanity & the art of giving. Besides a Mom, Grandmother & Great Grandmother she is a retired teacher, a volunteer for St Vincent de Paul & active & giving with in her community. A strong woman with a great sense of humor, stubborn, quick tempered & forgiving...with 6 of us she had to really conquer the gift of forgiveness. She has always welcomed all of us home with amazing hugs. Because of her I know love. However, she hated cooking & washing dishes” #womensmonth #celebrateyou
